Alec Baldwin returns to work on set
Five months after the tragedy that took the life of cameraman Galina Hutchins on the set of the western "Rust," Alec Baldwin is back to work. The actor will star in two Italian Christmas movies. He and his brother, actor William Baldwin, will travel to Italy to shoot "Kid Santa" and "Billie`s Magic World," two family-friendly animated game comedies.
The Baldwin brothers will reunite in the projects with director Francesco Cincuemani, with whom they have worked before. Alec starred with Cincuemani in the sci-fi action film "Andron - Black Maze" in 2015, and William starred in the Christmas animated-game comedy "The Christmas Witch" in 2021. Producers Monica Bacardi and Andrea Iervolino of ILBE are collaborating with Minerva Pictures, which will produce the Christmas films. Work on both films has already begun in Rome.
According to the producers, Alec Baldwin's participation in both projects was confirmed before the accident during the filming of "Rust" in October 2021. Recall that in February 2022, Galina Hutchins' family sued the producers of the western, including Baldwin.
