Amber Heard took offense at women over court ruling in favor of Johnny Depp

Amber Heard, star of "Aquaman" and its sequel, admitted to being very disappointed in the jury's decision that found her guilty of defamation and ordered her to pay hefty compensation.
I am heartbroken that the mountain of evidence was still not enough to stand up to the disproportionate power and influence of my ex-husband. I am even more frustrated by what this verdict means for other women. It is a disaster. It turns back time to a time when a woman who spoke out and opened up could have been publicly shamed and humiliated. It defeats the idea that violence against women should be taken seriously," Heard said in a statement.
I believe Johnny's lawyers succeeded in getting the jury to ignore the key issue of Free Speech and ignore evidence that was so compelling that we won in the UK. I am sad that I lost this case. But even sadder is that I seem to have lost the right I thought I had as an American to speak freely and openly," the actress added.
It's worth noting that the jury did rule in Amber Heard's favor on one of her counterclaims. Johnny Depp will have to pay her two million dollars, but in turn, to receive 15 million from his ex-wife.
