Benedict Cumberbatch will join Jodie Comer in a post-apocalyptic thriller

Benedict Cumberbatch ("Dr. Strange 2: Into the Multiverse of Madness") and Mark Strong ("Shazam!") have joined the apocalyptic thriller "The End We Begin With," starring Jodie Comer. Both are also involved as executive producers on the film, which has already begun shooting in London.
In addition to Cumberbatch, Strong and Comer, Joel Fry ("Cruella"), Gina McKee ("Bodyguard") and Nina Sosanya ("Good Omens") are in the cast of the Mahalia Belo thriller.
Based on the novel of the same name by Megan Hunter and adapted by BAFTA-nominated Alice Birch ("Normal People"), "The End We Begin" is positioned as "a powerful, hopeful story about the trials and joys of motherhood in the midst of the devastating floods that engulf London."
