"Breaking Bad" star Aaron Paul will change his last name
"Breaking Bad" star Aaron Paul has filed an official application to change his last name with his wife. The 43-year-old actor, whose real last name is actually Sturtevant, has for many years been known in the movie business under his stage name and now wants him and his 35-year-old wife Lauren Parsekian to have a new, legally assigned last name.
In addition, the couple wants to change the names given at birth to their son from Casper Emerson to Rayden Caspian. Note that the child is already registered as Paul, even though his parents have different last names as of this writing.
The parents have already used the child's new name on their social media accounts and have stated that they want a common last name that matches Aaron's stage name, hence the change. Ryden was born this spring and is the couple's second child; they already share a four-year-old daughter, Story Annabelle Paul.
