Captain Marvel and Ant-Man swapped places
Marvel Studios has swapped out its two promising comic book adaptations, Ant-Man 3 and Captain Marvel 2. The first film will be released on February 17, 2023, when a sequel to Carol Danvers' story was scheduled to be released, while the second will take the place of the first on July 28 of the same year.
The reason for this revision is not specified. Filming on both tapes has already been completed and no extras have been announced. A possible explanation for the change is the appearance of Kang the Conqueror in Ant-Man 3. Jonathan Majors is expected to reprise his role as the villain of the cartoon universe in the second season of the Loki series. And since it will be filmed in the summer of 2022, it could be ready for release in early summer 2023. Postponing the release of "Ant-Man 3" by several months frees the MCU to potentially delay the sequel to Kana's story until the fall of 2023.
Recall that the first part of "Captain Marvel" was very successful at the worldwide box office, grossing over a billion dollars. Such a rush accompanied the film, despite the fact that its protagonist had not previously appeared in Marvel Studios' team-up adaptations of the Avengers.
