Filming of the "Mad Max 4: Fury Road" prequel "Furiosa" has officially started. The singer of one of the leading roles, Chris Hemsworth, announced this on social media. Under the footage, Hemsworth posted the comment, "A new journey in the Mad Max saga begins." Legendary director George Miller will lead the filming process from his own script. "The Queen's Walk" star Anya Taylor-Joy is cast in the lead female role. Filming is expected to take place in New South Wales, Australia.
Other than the fact that the upcoming film will tell the story of Furiosa, the heroine played by Charlize Theron in "Fury Road," little is known about the plot. According to Miller, the film will be a "saga." "I'll tell you how things are going when I'm done, but it's been a great start," Miller recently said in an interview. - "All I can say now is about my excitement, because everything is incredibly exciting, and while there are certainly elements of 'Fury Road' in the project, it also has a lot of differences that we talked about earlier. Again, it's a painfully familiar world. And probably the biggest difference is the time span. "Fury Road" lasted three days and two nights, and this story is over 15 years. So it's a whole saga."
