"Fantastic Beasts 3" movie rated "rotten"
The movie "Fantastic Beasts 3: The Mysteries of Dumbledore" has not been raved about by film critics. This is evidenced by the very low rating recorded by the largest professional review aggregator, Rotten Tomatoes. At the time this post was published, it was only 58 percent, which means it was deemed "rotten."
Somebody get a real magic wand and cast a spell on this series. It needs all the help it can get," wrote Kate Erbland of Indie Wire.
'For at least an hour it's impossible to understand why something is happening, or how one scene relates to the next, or what any of the characters are trying to accomplish,' complained Robbie Collin of the Daily Telegraph.
"Four years later, 'Fantastic Beasts 3: The Dumbledore Mysteries' came out, and it turned out to be more of a major hit than a cinematic adventure," noted Lovia Gyargyi of The Hollywood Reporter.
"It looks dull and feels like it was done by people who want to leave the whole magical premise behind without the series gaining an adult perspective on reality or perspective," Siddant Addlach of IGN reported.
