Director forced to make changes to "Aquaman" sequel
The director of the DC Comics adaptation of "Aquaman 2 and the Lost Kingdom" James Wan admitted that he was forced to "refine the film" to meet the new requirements of DC Studios, which is now headed by James Gunn...

The director explained how many obstacles they had to overcome in order to synchronize the next chapter of Aquaman's story with the company's other projects.

"I had to make adjustments along the way. DC looked at a lot of different versions, and one of the challenges with this project was keeping track of what was going on. Fortunately, the Aquaman universe is pretty far removed from the other storylines. We go to a lot of different underwater kingdoms that aren't necessarily related to what's going on in the other movies and with different characters, so it's a little easier for us in that regard. I can just tell my story without being too heavily influenced, but at the same time I have to remember that everything is interconnected," complained James Wan.
