Jared Padalecki involved in car accident
Jared Padalecki, star of the crime drama "Walker," is recovering from a car accident. It was announced by the actor's "screen brother" Jensen Ackles at a meeting with fans of the legendary "Supernatural" series held in New Jersey last weekend. Ackles stated that Padalecki would not be joining him because he was involved in a "very serious car accident."
No date of the accident was given, but it was revealed that Padalecki "was not driving" and was in the passenger seat at the time of the incident. According to Ackles, there were no fatalities for anyone involved, and Padalecki is "recovering" and feeling fine. Ackles believes that Padalecki was "lucky to be alive," as he was later able to assess the condition of the car, which turned out to be deplorable. Padalecki has yet to comment on the incident on social media, which is not surprising.
Ackles and Padalecki starred in the "Supernatural" series for 15 seasons as brothers Dean and Sam Winchester, hunters of supernatural creatures. Since the show ended in 2020, the actors have continued to connect in life and on the sets of new projects. Ackles, for example, directed a recent episode of the second season of "Walker." As a reminder, Ackles is overseeing the "Supernatural" prequel, "The Winchesters," which will tell the story of Dean and Sam's future parents, Mary (Meg Donnelly) and John (Drake Roger).
