Jonah Hill to direct Keanu Reeves in secret project "Outcome"
Jonah Hill has been appointed to direct the film "Outcome," which will star Keanu Reeves in the title role. This information is shared by sources Deadline, adding that the script for the upcoming project prepared by Hill in collaboration with Ezra Woods. Hill's Strong Baby banner will produce the project. Representatives for Hill and Reeves refrain from commenting.
Plot details are being kept secret, but we can assume the project will attract a lot of attention given the players involved. It's expected to be unveiled to potential buyers before Thanksgiving, and several studios and streaming houses are already hoping to get a chance to bid.
Hill hasn't made a feature film since his directorial debut, "Mid-'90s," in 2018. His documentary "Statz," in which he talks about his therapist Dr. Phil Statz and their discussions about mental health, received rave reviews after premiering on Netflix this month. "Mid-'90s" was just as well received by critics, and Hill has since sought out the next feature-length project.
Reeves can next be seen in the action film "John Wick 4," which will debut in the spring of 2023. It was recently revealed that the actor and Francis Lawrence are planning to make a sequel to the movie comic "Constantine: Lord of Darkness."
