Josh Brolin, known for his portrayal of Thanos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has joined the cast of "Knives Out 3: Wake Up, Dead Man." Director, writer, and producer Rian Johnson is set to begin filming the third installment of the "Knives Out" series in the UK. "I love everything about detective stories, but what excites me most is how flexible the genre is. From John Carr to Agatha Christie, there's a wide tonal spectrum, and navigating that range makes creating stories about Benoit Blanc incredibly thrilling," Johnson shared in a recent social media post.

Josh Brolin's recent film projects include "Dune: Part Two." On television, he starred in the second season of the sci-fi western "Outer Range" on Prime Video, where he also served as executive producer and director. Brolin has also signed on to star in Zak Cregger's horror film "Weapons," a follow-up to the 2022 horror hit "Barbarian."
