'Pirates of the Caribbean' to be released to celebrate Disney's 100th anniversary
The studio will re-release its best films and cartoons
As part of Disney's centennial celebrations, eight of the studio's audience-favorite films and cartoons will return to cinemas in North America for special screenings.
These include Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003), Toy Story (1995), Cold Heart (2013), Beauty and the Beast (1991), Supergirl (2004), The Secret of Coco (2017), The Lion King (1994) and Moana (2016). Each of these projects will screen for a fortnight, starting with the original Pirates of the Caribbean starting on 7 July 2023 and ending with Moana, announced for 13 October, which will mark 100 years since Roy and Walt Disney founded The Walt Disney Company.
