Ridley Scott refuses to work with Disney because he sees no point in fairy tales
First millennials and now Disney fairy tales - Ridley Scott shared in a recent interview that he no longer recognizes entertainment projects. According to the director, he even gave up working with Disney because he no longer wants to make something he doesn't see the point of.
"The older I get, the more I'm looking for something that is meaningful, that serves not only to entertain, but also has an impact on someone. They (Disney) suggested I make a movie about a wizard, but I don't make movies about wizards. It wasn't a good idea," Scott says.
Recall that Scott has previously commented on the superhero movies, which, in his opinion, is boring and works only because of special effects.
At the moment, the maestro is preparing to work on a film about Napoleon with Joaquin Phoenix.
