Sandra Bullock's husband passed away
The actress' common-law husband has died after a lengthy illness
Sandra Bullock's common-law husband Brian Randall passed away last weekend, his family said in a press statement. He was only 57 years old.
"It is with great sadness that we announce that Brian Randall passed away peacefully after a three-year battle with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). Brian chose to keep his journey with ALS private, and those of us who cared for him did our best to honour his request. We are immensely grateful to the tireless doctors who have worked with us to manage this disease and the amazing nurses who have become our roommates, often sacrificing their families to be with us. At this time, we ask for privacy to grieve and come to terms with the possibility of saying goodbye to Brian," a statement on the matter said.
Sandra Bullock lived in a common-law marriage with Bryan Randall since 2015. The actress divorced her ex-husband, motorbike culture star Jesse James, in 2010 after adopting her first child, a son named Louis. Sandra Bullock met Randall while he was working as a photographer at Louis' birthday party in January 2015, and went public with their relationship later that year. By the end of 2015, she had adopted three-year-old daughter Leila.
What Sandra Bullock had to say about married life
"I found the love of my life. We have two beautiful children, I mean three children, the oldest daughter Randall. It's the best thing that's happened to me. And I don't need to be told to always be there for me in the hardest times. I don't need to be told I have to weather the storm with a good man."
