Scream 6 release date announced

Paramount Pictures has confirmed the release date for the sixth installment of the horror film "Scream." The next sequel to the famous franchise will be presented to viewers on March 31, 2023. Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillette, who directed the previous series, are set to direct.
Various casting reports have surfaced in recent months, although no official announcement has been made.
It is clear that with each new installment in the franchise, the number of available characters who could return in the next sequel decreases as many of them fall prey to the ghost masked assassins. While several old members of the project returned in the 2022 film, the only ones who could continue to delight audiences with their battles with maniacs were Neve Campbell and Courtney Cox.
The latter had previously confirmed that she was ready to return and even announced that she had received a script for a sixth series. As for Campbell, the actress has not yet made a final decision.
Filming for Scream 6 is set to begin this summer and will take place mostly in Canada.
