"Spider-Man" star Tom Holland doesn't like Hollywood

The actor admitted that he hates the American film industry
Tom Holland, who played Spider-Man in the Marvel Comics adaptations, has admitted that he can't stand the American film industry, although he loves doing films in principle.

"I'm a really big fan of making films, but I really dislike Hollywood. It's not for me. That business machine just scares me. I realise that I'm part of that business and I enjoy interacting with it, but be that as it may, I'm always looking for ways to remove myself from it so that I can just live as normal a life as I can," the actor stated.

Tom Holland noted that he is looking to focus more on his loved ones. "I just really, really want to focus on what makes me happy, which is my family, my friends, my carpentry, my golf, the charity my mum runs. That's what makes me really happy and that's what I have to protect," he added.

Tom Holland, who is dating his "Spider-Man" colleague Zendaya, described his romantic relationship with the actress as "the thing I hold most sacred," noting that he and the 26-year-old actress "both feel very strongly that keeping their relationship private is the best way to move forward as a couple."

When the next Spider-Man film will be released
Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige announced the start of work on the fourth Spider-Man film, but did not specify when it will be released. "Spider-Man 3: No Way Home", became a box office hit and collected more than $1.9 billion at the global box office.
