The show will be set a hundred years before the events of the main series
The world of 'Game of Thrones' is expanding again. The streaming service, now called Max, has officially ordered a new prequel called Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.

The title is based on writer George R.R. Martin's popular Tales of Duncan and Egg, which tells the story of the future Lord Commander of the Kingsguard, Ser Duncan the High and future King Aegon V Targaryen, who wander around Westeros, experiencing around 100 adventures together. The project is the second prequel to officially go into production after the show House of the Dragon.

What is the new Game of Thrones prequel about?
The synopsis reads, "A century before the events of Game of Thrones, two unlikely heroes roam Westeros - the young, naive but brave knight Ser Duncan the High and his diminutive squire Egg. The action takes place in an age when the Targaryen bloodline still held the Iron Throne and memories of the last dragon have not yet been erased from the memory of the living. Great destinies, powerful enemies and legendary feats await these unlikely and friends." George R.R. Martin himself will be writing the script for the show.

When will the second season of the series Dragon House be released?

Filming on the show has already begun, but a date for the premiere of the sequel has not yet been announced. It is likely that fans will see the second season in 2024.
