The fourth season trailer for "WestWorld" premieres
The first official trailer for the fourth season of the HBO sci-fi epic "WestWorld" has been unveiled. In it, everything looks calm and appealing for the time being, until the Man in Black shows up.
The drama's fourth season, consisting of eight episodes, will premiere on June 26, 2022. Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton, Ed Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, Luke Hemsworth and Aaron Paul will return to their roles.
In the summer of 2021, series co-screenwriter and executive producer Lisa Joy Nolan, while promoting her first directorial project, Memories, revealed that viewers would see several new worlds in season four that she thought were really interesting. When asked to describe season four in one word, Nolan Joy replied "inversion."
Season three ended with Maeve (Newton) and Caleb (Paul) defeating Serak (Vincent Cassel), while the Man in Black (Harris) appears to have been killed off by his robotic alter ego controlled by Chalores, a hybrid of Charlotte Hale and Dolores (Thompson).
