The full title of the "Avatar" sequel has been announced

Disney held a presentation of the sequel to the famous sci-fi movie "Avatar" during the CinemaCon 2022 festival. Participants were presented with the first fragment of the sequel, as well as announced its full title - "Avatar 2: The Way of Water" ("Avatar: The Way of Water").
The action takes place more than ten years after the events of the first film. According to the official synopsis, Avatar 2: The Way of Water continues to tell the story of the Sally family (Jake, Neytiri and their children), the troubles that haunt them, the lengths they go to to keep each other safe and the battles they fight to stay alive and the tragedies they experience.
According to producer John Landau, each of the next parts of the project is a different story, but they will all eventually be combined into one saga.
It has also been confirmed that the first trailer will be presented to audiences before the screenings of the Marvel Comics adaptation "Doctor Strange 2: Into the Multiverse of Madness." Soon after the release of the picture, the reel will appear on the web.
In addition, the studio announced that it will re-release the original film on September 23, 2022. A version with an updated soundtrack and visuals will be shown.
