"The Incredible Hulk" director to direct "Fast and Furious 10"

The production team of the action movie "Fast and the Furious 10" found a replacement for the retired director Justin Lin. His post will be taken by Louis Leterrier, director of the Marvel comic book adaptation "The Incredible Hulk" as well as the "Illusion of Deception" and "Clash of the Titans" films.
Leterrier is said to have beaten out numerous contenders for the position. According to sources, his candidacy was supported by Universal Studios executives. The film's shooting schedule will be adjusted to allow Leterrier to get up to speed.
Meanwhile, keeping a major production in limbo while searching for a director has cost Universal about one million dollars a day. Longer delays could have been even more damaging to the film's already complicated shooting calendar, as most of the stars of "Fast and Furious 10" have commitments to other film projects.
In addition, the problem is that the final installment was originally intended to be a dilogy, completing the "Fast and the Furious" saga. The filmmakers were going to shoot both parts at the same time, which could have saved a significant amount of money. Whether these plans will be relevant now is still unknown.
Recall that Justin Lin gave up directing ten days after filming began. It was reported that he was unhappy with the way Vin Diesel was acting.
