The former member of the idol group Nogizaka46 will play the lead role in the series
The Pokemon Company has a surprise for its fans in the form of a Pokemon adventure game series that is currently in production. As confirmed by Japanese broadcaster TV Tokyo, the series "Fill Your Pockets With Adventure" will debut on 19 October 2023. The feature drama series is reportedly the first of its kind. It is positioned as a "human drama featuring Pokémon," as the main character is a human who tackles the challenges of adulthood with Pokémon at her fingertips.

What is the series Fill Your Pockets With Adventure about?
The series tells the story of Madoka, a recent college graduate who quits her job in a harbour town to move to bustling Tokyo. In Tokyo, Madoka takes a job at an adventure-oriented advertising agency. Once she starts working, Madoka becomes disillusioned with life in the city, but everything changes when her mother sends a parcel containing Madoka's old Game Boy with a version of Pokemon Red. Soon our heroine learns some important life lessons from the popular game. The role of Madoka went to former member of the popular Japanese idol group Nogizaka46, Nanase Nishino.

"I was surprised to get this offer just a few days after I told my friend that I would like to work on something Pokémon-related someday," Nanase Nishino said in a statement. - "I'm very happy because I belong to the generation that grew up on Pokémon, having played most of the series from the first to the last.
