The series "The Space Visitor" has been extended for a third season

A resident alien hiding under the guise of Dr. Harry Vanderspiegel will be on Earth for a while longer. Syfy Channel has prematurely renewed the popular sci-fi comedy "An Alien from Outer Space" for a third season, without waiting for the second part of the second season to be released on August 10, 2022.
In the series, which is based on a comic book, an alien (Alan Tudyk) arrives on Earth on a mission to destroy all humans. After an emergency landing, he assumes the form of doctor Harry Vanderspiegel, joins society and gradually begins to grapple with the moral ambiguity of his mission. The second half of the second season will focus on the aftermath of Asta's (Sarah Tomko) actions to save Harry's life.
Chris Sheridan's series stars Corey Reynolds, Elizabeth Bowen, Levi Filer, Meredith Garretson, Alice Wetterlund and Judah Pren in the lead roles.
The Outsider from Outer Space had a great showing on Syfy. According to Nielsen, each episode of the show's second season garnered an average of 2.3 million viewers in a week of delayed viewing. Syfy claims that the show's total audience, including viewers on air and all platforms, has grown to nearly 11 million.
