The star of "Squid Game" has landed a role in Alfonso Cuarón's series

"Squid Game" star Jeon Ho-yeon, who won the U.S. Screen Actors Guild Award for her role in the drama, has joined the cast of the upcoming Apple TV+ thriller "All Coincidences Are Coincidental." Cate Blanchett and Kevin Kline star in the mini-series based on Renee Knight's novel of the same name. Screening of the novel on his own script is engaged Alfonso Cuaron.
The plot of the upcoming series is built around a successful journalist Catherine Ravenscroft (Blanchett). Catherine has built her career by exposing old and respected institutions, making documentaries about it. One day on her bedside table, she finds a book from some unknown place. To her horror, the woman realizes that she is the key character in this gripping novel written by a widower (Kline). But the scariest part is that her long-neglected, long-forgotten secret, of which no living soul knows, has been revealed.
Jeon Ho-en joins previously confirmed Sacha Baron Cohen and Cody Smith-McPhee. She will play Kim, an ambitious, hard-working and eager to please assistant Catherine, whose work could be a big break for her.
