Vin Diesel's visit to the filming of the Avatar sequel explained

More than three years ago, Vin Diesel, who starred in the action-adventure film Fast and Furious, shared a video capturing him and James Cameron on the set of Avatar 2: The Path of Water, leading to speculation that Vin Diesel himself might make an appearance on Pandora at some point. Franchise producer John Landau decided to finally clarify the situation.
Vin was just a fan. One day he came and visited the set to see what we were doing and people took that visit out of context," he commented.
Nevertheless, Vin Diesel is apparently still burning with a desire to work with James Cameron at some point in the future. "There's one person in Hollywood I've always wanted to work with and learn from. And I think everything comes to those who wait," he said earlier.
It's entirely possible that Vin Diesel will have that opportunity when the director begins making the fourth and fifth films in the series, as almost all of the material for the third has already been filmed.
