WarnerMedia Studios and HBO Max executives fired

Ann Sarnoff, chairman of WanerMedia Studios, and Andy Forssell, boss of HBO Max, will leave their positions. The announcement was made by the new CEO of the newly minted Warner Bros. Discovery David Zaslav, who addressed words of gratitude to his outgoing colleagues for their work.
I want to thank Ann for her leadership during a time of transformation for the company and our industry. She was a passionate and dedicated leader of such a powerful creative engine and worked conscientiously, purposefully and diligently to bring WarnerMedia's businesses, brands and employees together. The company has received an impressive boost, and I appreciate all of her advice and partnerships over the past few months that have allowed us to succeed in launching Warner Bros. Discovery. We all wish her great success in the future," the statement reads.
Sarnoff took over as chairman of WarnerMedia Studios shortly after Kevin Tsujihara was ousted because of inappropriate relationships with young actresses. Sarnoff was the first woman to hold the position at the company.
As a reminder, it was also previously revealed that Warner Media CEO Jason Kilar was also leaving. "As the Discovery deal nears completion, now is a good time to share with each of you that I am leaving this amazing company," he announced.
